GUIDE TO “DEPASAS” PROCEDURES

On May 5th 2016 a new procedure for students to make requests to their departments was activated. These procedures include:

  • Requesting an individual study plan

(i.e., swapping out mandatory/statutory exams)

(Submission conditions are decided by your Department.)

  • Requesting credit in advance

(Submission conditions are decided by your Department.)

  • Requesting a study course change

(i.e., changing partitions. Since courses are divided alphabetically by last names i.e., A-K and L-Z, you may request to be placed in another partition.)

(This procedure has been temporarily suspended and any requests made will be rejected.)

  • Requesting elective exams

(Submission conditions are decided by your Department.)

  • Requesting supernumerary exams

(Submission conditions are decided by your Department.)

  • Requesting part-time enrollment

(i.e., enrolling as a part-time student. This procedure isn’t available anymore for anyone who enrolled in the academic year 2015/2016. It will be reactivated for those who enrolled in 2016/2017, the dates will be decided by the Academic Senate.)

  • Requesting credit acknowledgment

(Submission conditions are decided by your Department.)

  • Requesting acknowledgment for external exams

(i.e., registering exams taken outside of Poliba or in other universities)

(Submission conditions are decided by your Department.)

Choosing a mandatory exam for enrolled students (guided procedure):

  • For students enrolled in the academic year 2022/2023 and following (Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering LM30 or LM31 and Energy Engineering)
  • For students enrolled in the academic year 2023/2024 (Master’s Degree in Management Engineering)
Students belonging to these courses can make their requests directly from their esse3 page, by following this guide:
HOW TO INSERT ELECTIVE EXAMS IN YOUR STUDY PLAN

The various modules you need to follow for your requests can be found in our website, www.poliba.it. Log into your account with the same credentials you use for your esse3 page and select “STUDENTS” when asked by the system.

Following the procedure guide is strongly recommended:

Compiling these modules is the only way for you to submit these applications.

If you submitted an application within the 5th of May 2016, it will still be considered valid and you won’t have to submit it again. Physical applications and other documents are not needed.
